GEN-Z

Born between 1996 and 2010, GEN-Z is the first generation in recorded history
to NOT know life without the internet. The ubiquitous influence of technology,
namely smart devices, social media and the internet itself,
earns them the moniker “Digital Natives.”

AN EMPOWERED GENERATION IN ACTION

Clearly there are many benefits to the digital technologies our society has created. For example GEN-Z loves social media; they benefit greatly from it, but no one prepared them for the consequences involved. While many in this generation are falling victim to things like “addiction to technology”– and to the almost insurmountable “social pressures” they face on a daily basis designed to exact “social conformity”– others are figuring out how to navigate the oppression and transform the underlying fear. Social envy, identity crisis, high anxiety, clinical depression, attention deficit disorder (ADD), attention deficit hyperactive disorder (ADHD), just to name a few, are all at their highest levels in recored history. However, GEN-Z is NOT waiting around for someone to tell them what to do. They seem totally capable of dealing with these issues head-on. See examples below:
